Let me just make one thing perfectly clear – I love this stuff.
One of the best things about being a personal trainer is meeting someone for the first time that is ready to make a change, and knowing I get to see the changes and be a part of his or her journey. A big part. It’s something that never gets old.
Whether you’re looking to lose weight, build muscle, or prepare for a bodybuilding competition or photo shoot - you can expect me to develop a detailed plan with short- and long-term goals, create energizing and personalized routines, and be 100% completely dedicated to your success.
I began training in Eugene, Oregon after realizing I was much more passionate about exercise and nutrition than civil engineering (what I went to college for). When life called me to Asheville, I settled in quickly and found a fantastic group of like-minded people at O3 Health & Fitness who share my enthusiasm and desire to help people.
I train people individually (1-on-1), as partners or in groups up to 4. I also have group fitness classes at the O3 studio, and am available for speaking engagements and corporate lunch & learns for businesses in the Asheville area.
I am a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and the Athletic Certification Training Commission. I stay updated on the latest exercise techniques and nutrition recommendations by reading journals, attending seminars, and learning from colleagues. I am currently studying to obtain certification as a nutritional counselor, and presently consult with a nurse practitioner regarding individual's dietary needs for their goals.
